Legend
Coat of arms of Tunisia
The coat of arms of Tunisia consists of a shield divided in three sections. Above, a lymphad (representing freedom) is floating on sea of waves. Underneath to the left a pair of scales (representing justice) and to the right a rampant lion (representing order) are placed. In the middle the national motto "حرية، نظام، عدالة", meaning "liberty, justice, order", is placed on a banner. Above a crescent with six-pointed star, important symbols in Islam, are placed within a circle.
