Emblem
The emblem of Vietnam is red with a yellow star (representing the Communist Party. Underneath the star stand a cog wheel and some ears of wheat which represent the industry and agriculture of the country. Underneath it all a banner says "Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam" meaning "socialist republic of Viet nam."
