Legend
Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of Morocco shows 2 Barbary or Atlas lions supporting an escutcheon and each standing on a cornucopia. The escutcheon is decorated with the sun with 15 rays, which rises behind the Atlas mountains, and a green pentagram or Seal of Solomon. On top of the shield the Royal Crown is placed. Underneath the emblem a text is placed on the ribbon citing a passage from the Qur'an: "إن تنصروا الله ينصركم" ("If you glorify God, he will glorify you" in English), Verse 7, Sura 47.
