Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of Namibia consists of a shield supported by two oryces and placed on a dune with a Welwitschia plant. The shield is decorated with the flag of Namibia consisting of a upper left azure and a lower right green part divided by a red-silver banner. On the blue part a sun with 12 rays is placed. On top of the shield are a traditional head ring and a African fish eagle depicted. Underneath the dune a white-with-red-back banner says "UNITY LIBERTY JUSTICE", the national motto of Namibia.
