I've built this website because, when I was gathering information about the coins in my collection, I could hardly find any information about the marks on these coins. Mint marks, privy marks, designer marks, if to be found at all, they were scattered all over the internet. So, it seemed like a good idea to try to gather as much information as possible on mints, privies, designers etc. and their marks and put them all together on one website: mine.
As I'm still building this website, it isn't finished by far. Also, a lot of new coins are minted almost every day, so a lot of new marks will be seen regularly. So, if you can't find the right information on the mark on your coin, I'm sorry, I'm not there yet.
But, how nice, you can contribute to make this website more complete. If you have more information on a mark on a coin, please, don't hesitate to e-mail me. Preferably include a picture of the mark, information about the coin (like a KM-number) and, if possible, a reference (URL or something). When you e-mail me a picture of a mark, you agree to it be put on the internet. A thank you note will added :)
